PetroleumBRUNEI joins Maulud procession
09 March 2009

All PetroleumBRUNEI male staff led by Chief Executive Officer of PetroleumBRUNEI Hj Mohd Ja'afar bin Hj Awang Bakar gathered at the Taman Hj Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien for a Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW mass procession on 9 March 2009, 12 Rabiulawal 1430 Hijrah. The procession is held annually in Brunei to mark the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam headed a 25,000 strong procession on a brisk 4.3km walk through the streets of Bandar Seri Begawan. Various government ministries and departments, private sectors and institution of educations, villages and other associations were among those present during the procession.
