Tap Energy, the operator of Block M held a blessing ceremony on 22 May at Labi Mosque in the Belait District for Block M’s upcoming 2D/3D seismic survey.
Present at the ceremony were PetroleumBRUNEI’s staff headed by CEO Hj Mohd Ja’afar bin Haji Awang Bakar, Ketua Kampong Labi 1 Awang Hanapi bin Mohd. Siput and the villagers. Representatives of Jana Corporation and BGP also attended the ceremony.
Awang Suni Bin Hj Sulaiman from Tap Energy gave his welcoming speech, which was followed by the recital of Surah Yasin and doa selamat led by Imam of Labi Mosque. As a token of appreciation Tap Energy distributed a copy of Surah Yasin to those present.
