PetroleumBRUNEI’s booth at the 2009 Energy Fair drew large crowds with its unique, non-stop activities on 24 May. All staff interacted with the public through face-painting, the Human Foosball and Wind of Chance games. Free ice-cream was also distributed to children who had their face painted by staff.

Earlier that day, the Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister's Office, YB Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Dewa Major General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Mohammad bin Haji Daud led about 200 cyclists on a bikeathon to promote understanding and awareness on the importance of energy conservation. The bikeathon, which began at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas and ended at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital. was organised by the Brunei Energy Association (BEnA).

This year’s Energy Fair which carried the theme, save energy, our responsibility, was launched by YB Pehin Dato Hj Mohammad at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien.
