A 24-member senior delegation from the Indonesian National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (Lemhannas RI), made a study visit to PetroleumBRUNEI on 15 October. The visitors included a number of participants of the 43rd intake of Lemhannas, and were welcomed by PetroleumBRUNEI’s CEO Hj Mohd Ja’afar bin Hj Awang Bakar and members of management.
In his welcome remarks, Hj Ja’afar said that one of PetroleumBRUNEI’s strategies was to utilize as many molecules of hydrocarbon in Brunei Darussalam, through activities such as manufacturing, storage and trading, in order to drive the economy, create jobs and build expertise in the country.
CGM Hj Kula bin Hj Metasan made a presentation on PetroleumBRUNEI’s role and initiatives as the national oil company, and this was followed by a Q&A session.
The LEMHANNAS delegation was led by Major General TNI Suroyo Gino, Senior Expert Assistant to the Governor of Lemhannas.
