Tap Energy, the operator for Block M hosted an appreciation dinner for its senior stakeholders at the Tarindak d’Polo Restaurant in Jerudong on 16 October 2009. The function was held in conjunction with the completion of the seismic project on Block M, and to thank the government agencies, penghulu mukims and village heads for their cooperation and support.

Speeches were delivered by Tap Energy’s Country Manager, Alfred Stawicki and its Chief Geophysicist Suni Hj Sulaiman. In attendance from PetroleumBRUNEI were CEO Hj Mohd Ja’afar bin Hj Awang Bakar and Business Asset General Manager Hi Iskandar bin Hj Yahya. The Block M consortium was also represented by Jana Corporation’s Dato Seri Laila Jasa Hj Ahmad bin Dato Paduka Matnor.

Other guests included the Belait Assistant District Officer, Hj Abdul Hamid bin Dato Paduka Hj Abdullah and senior officials from government agencies such as the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the Royal Brunei Police Force.

Souvenirs were presented to the guests as tokens of appreciation.
